Product Description
This strain is extracted from the seed coat of a specific peanut variety, the main component is polyphenols proanthocyanidins for food coloring preservation, cosmetics, prevention of cardiovascular diseases and other health products and anti-cancer drugs. Proanthocyanidin, referred to as PC, is a general term for a large class of polyphenolic compounds widely existing in plants. Its oligomer, oligomeric proanthocyanidin (OPC), is currently internationally recognized as an effective natural antioxidant for scavenging free radicals in human body. Generally, it is red-brown powder, slight in gas, astringent in taste, soluble in water and most organic solvents. Experiments show that the anti-oxidation ability of oligomeric proanthocyanidin OPC is 50 times that of vitamin E, vitamin C is 20 times more and is absorbed quickly and completely.
